Deidara and Gaara from the series Naruto! (what else?)

WOW, it's been a while since I've submitted anything; I just (sadly) haven't been doing that much art lately.

Last summer, requested a picture of Deidara fighting Gaara, and here, a half a year later, I have finally followed through with my promise – sorry it's so late! It's a rather odd picture, with some extreme and unrealistic foreshortening, but I rather like the final product.

Lineart done with micron pen, shading done with charcoal (which was a bad idea, it's sooooo messy).
